Twenty Pound Deals

I used to do twenty-pound deals

Enough to let

The poor man know how the

Other half

Thrives on poo-nana’s and coke

While we accede to the demand

Of race groupings and grow

The wheat that makes us all

Go slow and endeavour

To be clear about the one who is to

Be then and now saluted for prowess

With a microphone and sayer.
