Devil take the hindmost
This is supposed to be non-destructive testing!
with a moan of non-resistant tension
I pull the trigger back
and let go of the horned framed
doorway leading to truth
and disbelief in a simultaneous
explosive mission
from the Devil himself
who laughs at me for the one
who isn’t called for isn’t going
to maim him and that be one thing
we cannot sort out – how to
make him dead to our mistakes.
