The Bus Ride

Take a bus along the word

of man and understand that he

is not the one to add to your

list of fellow users of drugs

like your fool friend does

and who asks who is fooling who?

For it is not the fool who answers

but the men who do not find time

to wander and ask not of life

but to hear the red and blue

understand the fact of light

and sound of rock

‘n roll

for these are the days

of music and psalms do not

make for the readiness of man

to stand to and wait

for guns to sound

like they do in the grounds

of man in the working of God

for He is not here when the end

comes.
