WHAT’S IT MATTER

It’s not who you are

It’s what’s written in your file that matters

For the work of the day is done

But no one knows it ‘til light.

I want to give you the word

To be able to make it to the moon

But no one knows the when from the why

And that does it too

So do.

I will be them and the right to be there

Will be a silent noise called a wallet and child

Who do not pay for themselves but do know

It too.
